Travelling to Mallorca to meet Louise and Mark at La Finca Cas Xorc was a real pleasure. They had been searching the Internet for a wedding photographer and came across my website. They got in contact and asked if I’d mind going over to Mallorca to do the photographic report of their wedding. Of course, I told them I’d be delighted to.
I’d like to leave you with some words from Louise as she remembers her experience of how it went:
The wedding was exactly as I had imagined it. We were searching for a place between our country of origin, South Africa and where we lived, Switzerland. We managed to find an incredible location between the mountains, with a fantastic climate, and it was here that we wanted to celebrate our intimate wedding, accompanied by our family and closest friends, of whom came from all parts of the world.
The place that we chose for the wedding was in the ‘La Finca Cas Xorc’ an incredible estate, surrounded by nature. During the morning, whilst waiting for the wedding to begin, the guests relaxed in the hotel and pool, while we nervously and excitedly got ourselves ready in our rooms, with our closest friends by our sides. The wedding dress I chose, after four attempts, was one by Pronovias. My sister was in charge of make-up and a close friend did my hair. When I saw the groom for the first time, I know that it was going be the best day of my life. The ceremony was officiated by the charismatic Mary Lynn, who made the day even more fun and special. We hired the best guitarist on the island, Andrew Spencer, who created a perfect and intimate atmosphere during the Cocktail party. The hotel itself, Cas Xorc, did the catering and decoration. The dance and party in the marquee was without doubt one of the parts of the wedding which we enjoyed the most, having a great time with our friends and with background music from DJ Sam Smith.
